JIM ELLISON Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator/Running Backs Coach Ellison was born in Michigan and raised in Arizona, graduating from Scottsdale High School. He then went on to a twenty-five year career at Motorola. While at Motorola he obtained a teaching degree in Kinesiology graduating from ASU in 2002. Coach Ellison comes to Arcadia from Chaparral where he was Head J.V. Coach for eight seasons along with being an Assistant Varsity Coach at Chaparral. While at Chaparral he compiled a record of 56-7, which included a 37 game winning streak and four undefeated seasons. Coach Ellison also helped the varsity team win three State Championships in 1999, 2000, and 2002. Previously, he served as the Varsity Offensive Coordinator at Pinnacle High School improving the offensive production from 6.8 points per game to 38 points per game. Arcadia welcomes Coach Ellison along with his lovely wife Shari and their five supportive children: Alissa, Martin, Cisco, Joseph, and Kayla. |

MIKE ANGELONE Defensive Coordinator & Defensive Backs Coach Angelone was born and raised in New York where he attended Deer Park High School lettering in football and baseball, he went on to play two years of college baseball. After college he became a student in martial arts which he has been involved in for twenty-seven years, achieving 5th degree black belt status. Coach Angelone comes to Arcadia from Chaparral High School where he coached for ten seasons with the last six as the Varsity Defensive Coordinator. During his time on varsity his defense’s only allowed nine points per game. He has been married for fifteen years to his loving wife Cathy and has four athletic children: Nick, Valerie, Raquel and Gabriella. |

PATRICK BLAKESLEY Quarterbacks Coach Blakesley graduated from Kingwood High School in Texas. While there he was a four year varsity quarterback and a three year starter. He then went on to play for two years at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss). Coach Blakesley brings experience and insight to the quarterback position. He enjoys playing Rugby, is married to his loving wife Laura, and has two children, Stephen and Jacqueline. |

PAUL GERMINARO Varsity Offensive & Defensive Line Coach Coach Germinaro is a graduate of St. Mary’s High School. After high school he attended NAU and ASU, and then played offensive line on a semi-pro football team in the Arizona and Copper State Football Leagues. He returns for his second coaching experience at Arcadia, he was previously here in 2002-2003. Coach Germinaro also coached at Bourgade High School. He works for the City of Scottsdale and has been married to his loving wife Sarah for seven years, together they have two sons, Coleman and Lucas. |

SCOTT LANE Receivers/Kickers/Defensive Backs Coach Lane was born and raised in Scottsdale. He is a graduate of Chaparral High School where he played and later coached. While playing at Chaparral he was part of a state championship team and received All-State Honors. Coach Lane won the Golden Toe Award recognizing him as the best kicker in the state, holds the record for the longest field goal (52 yds) at Chaparral. This will be Coach Lane’s first year at Arcadia where he will be a great addition to the coaching staff. He is married to his loving wife Meredith whom graduated from Arcadia High School. |

CARSON KELLY Linebackers Coach Kelly was born and raised in Arizona. He is a graduate of Chaparral High School where he played on three state championship teams. Coach Kelly was also named to the 1st Team 4A All-State team as a linebacker. He then went on to play one year at ASU and two years at North Eastern University, he then returned to graduate from ASU. Coach Kelly is an eager young coach and will be a very good at Arcadia High School |

JASON BLACK Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator/Defensive Backs/Running Backs Coach Black is an Arizona native and a graduate of Coronado High School where he played offensive and defensive line. He currently works for the city of Scottsdale and takes classes at Mesa Community College. Coach Black brings an enormous amount of youth coaching experience with him to Arcadia. He has been married for four years to his loving wife Lindsey who he enjoys spending time with. |

JOHN TRUPIANO Offensive Coordinator/Offensive Line/Defensive Line Coach Trupiano graduated from Grosse Point North High School in Michigan. While there he played on the offensive line and was voted a team captain. Coach Trupiano went on to play center for Albion College and graduated from in 2003. He will be going into his third year of teaching in the Scottsdale Unified School District currently teaching social studies at Supai Middle School. This will be Coach Trupiano’s first year coaching at Arcadia and he will be a great asset to the football program. |

JASON
FOSTER Receivers/Linebackers/Special Teams Jason was born and raised in Arizona. Coach Foster attended Tavan elementary, Ingleside middle school, and Coronado high school. While at Coronado he lettered in football, soccer and baseball. Coach Foster then went on to graduate from A.S.U. and has now taught at Arcadia for 9 years. For the last five years he has coached the girl’s softball team winning back to back state championships before finishing State Runner-up this past season. Coach Foster has been married for 10 years to his lovely wife Katy and together they have 2 daughters, Marisa, 6 and Natalie 4. |

RANDELL GREEN Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator/Defensive Backs Coach Green was born in Phoenix and played football at Buckeye High School. He also played one year at Arizona Western Junior College, then transferred and graduated from ASU. Coach Green will be coming over from Chaparral High School where he has coached and been successful for seven seasons. He is a hard working coach and will be a great benefit to the Arcadia football program. |

SONNY THURMAN Offensive Coordinator/Receivers Coach Thurman is the longest tenured coach at Arcadia High School. He will be entering his sixth season. Coach Thurman is an Arizona native, a graduate of Fountain Hills High School, where he played football, and a graduate of ASU. Coach Thurman loves working with young athletes and looks forward to this upcoming season. |

OTIS DENNING Offensive & Defensive Line Coach Coach Denning was a three sport athlete in high school. He also played eight years of semi-pro football in the North American Football League, playing on two championship teams. Coach Denning has coached youth sports for twenty-five years with his last twelve years being at Chaparral High School. He has been a part of many successful teams and brings a wealth of knowledge to the Arcadia football program. Coach Denning has also served time in the U.S. Marines. He is married to his lovely wife Jean and has two sons. |

MARCUS O’SULLIVAN Special Teams Coach O’Sullivan is an Arizona Native and attended Santa Rita High School in Tucson. After high school he went on to graduate from ASU and completed his education by receiving a master’s degree in education from the University of Phoenix. Coach O’Sullivan comes to Arcadia from Chaparral where he coached last season. He is a dedicated coach who always gives his all and will be a nice addition to the Arcadia coaching staff. Coach O’Sullivan and his caring wife Amy are newlyweds and the proud parents of a puppy they rescued from a pet shelter. |

MIKE ALEXANDER Running Backs/Linebackers This will be Coach Alexander’s second season with Arcadia. He is from Boulder, Colorado, where he attended Boulder High School and was named to the 1st Team All-State football team. He moved to Arizona and graduated from ASU. He is also a body building champion winning 1st place in Colorado, as well as, in the Western Regional Championship and the Western USA Championship. |
